Brett is a country, folk, and Americana singer-songwriter from the Auburn/Valley area, known for his honest storytelling and roots-driven sound. He got his start working behind the scenes in music as a sound engineer at his father’s nightclub before eventually stepping into songwriting and live performance himself, honing his craft during Sunday night sets that helped shape his signature style.
His music blends Southern grit with heartfelt lyricism, drawing from small-town life and classic Americana influences. Over the years, he’s built a strong regional following across Alabama and the Southeast, performing both solo and as part of the duo “Daniel-McDaniel.” He’s shared stages with respected artists like Brent Cobb and Adam Hood, and continues to be a familiar name on songwriter stages and festival lineups around the region.
