Horseshoe Bend National Military Park is partnering with the New Site and Dadeville Alabama Fire Departments to host a Touch A Truck community event on June 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This family-friendly program invites visitors of all ages to explore emergency response vehicles, meet first responders and learn about the equipment that keeps local communities safe.
Community emergency responders will be on-site showcasing their trucks, tools and gear. They will offer hands-on opportunities for children and adults to get up close to the vehicles they see in their neighborhoods every day. This event provides a relaxed and engaging setting to learn more about the essential services provided by local fire and emergency departments.
