Tallapoosa County residents, it’s time to clear out unwanted items! Sponsored by the Tallapoosa County Commission, this free event offers designated drop-off locations for disposal of various household items.
Locations & Dates:
- August 10-11: Daviston (Drake Rd.), Hackneyville Community Center
- August 12-13: Union Community Center, Wall Street Community Center
- August 14-16: Alex City Annex – 395 Lee St.
- August 17-18: Double Bridges – HWY 63, Camp Hill City Hall
Important: Dumpsters will be available for household waste only. Restricted items include liquids (paint, pesticides), appliances with compressors, propane tanks, and hazardous or medical waste.
