Listen for the early morning riddle first at 6 am and then again at 7 am on The Front Porch and Kowaliga Country 97.5. (Only Monday-Friday clues will be on The Front Porch.) The clues will be shared on the Sun Festival, Alexander City Chamber of Commerce, and Alexander City Outlook Facebook pages at 6 am. When solved, the riddle will lead you to an official Sun Festival Alexander City medallion worth $200. The medallion will be hidden within the Alexander City city limits.
If the medallion has not been found by 3 pm, an additional clue will be given through all media outlets listed above. Should the medallion not be found on any given day, it will roll to the next day along with a new medallion riddle for that day’s treasure as well. In this scenario, more than one medallion is in play. When you find the medallion, call Kowaliga Country 97.5 at 256-234-6221 and then take the medallion to the Alexander City Outlook, during their normal business hours, to collect your prize and have your picture made.
