Join the Cherokee Ridge Alpine Trail Association (CRATA) on November 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. for the dedication ceremony and grand opening of the newly restored Overlook Fire Tower. This 110-foot-tall, 80+ year-old tower was carefully transported from Virginia, fully restored, and reassembled on the highest point overlooking Cherokee Bluffs—offering breathtaking views of Lake Martin’s southern end. Located just down the road from Overlook Park, this remarkable project is a true community achievement, made possible by the dedication, donations, and hard work of local residents, volunteers, and businesses. Celebrate this incredible milestone with CRATA and be among the first to experience one of Lake Martin’s most stunning new viewpoints.
