Naturalist Marianne will be in her Cabin all day with a variety of items from Russell Forest, and some friendly turkeys for you to interact with and get that perfect Thanksgiving profile pic! LIVE TURKEYS of the domestic variety will be at the Naturalist’s Cabin for some serious turkey talk. In addition to the birds of honor, an assortment of items left behind by the Eastern Wild Turkey will be available for handling and instruction. Turkeys have interesting features including caruncles, a snood, spurs, and a beard! Take a selfie with a tame live turkey! The whole family will enjoy watching the star of Thanksgiving strut its stuff. Appropriate for all ages. No charge – everyone is welcome!
