15 years ago, I reached out to Trey E. of shadowood and mentioned that we were starting an event called Friday On The Green at Russell Crossroads. Back in my DJ days Trey’s mom brought me a CD of their music – I had a really good time with it. The GM of the station didn’t give me too much grief over playing Beer, Triple Wide, and a few others, anyway they said yes and were one of only 4 bands/acts to play that year. They have been back over from Atlanta a few times through the years and always seem to have a grand time. If you haven’t seen shadowood, make sure that you catch them this year – full band on the Green Stage. It will be fun!! ~Robert
