Fall Harvest: How Mast Keeps Birds Fed at Wind Creek State Park

Now that we are moving into fall, we will discuss the importance of mast, the fruits and nuts produced by local plants, which birds and many other animals rely on for energy and sustenance in the time leading up to the winter. We should be able to find a few real examples of mast while we are out there!
