Located just minutes from Lake Martin, this family-operated preserve is dedicated to sustainable hunting practices while ensuring the preservation of natural habitats for premier quail hunting, making it the ultimate destination for those seeking off-the-water fun.
What to Expect at Crimson Acres
Crimson Acres Hunting Preserve offers both guided and self-guided hunts for hunters of all ages, accompanied by AKC-registered German Shorthaired Pointers. Of course, hunters are welcome to bring their own hunting dogs too. A half-day hunt includes 15 birds per hunter, with hunt times available at 8:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Full-day hunts begin at 8:30 a.m. and include 30 birds per hunter, along with a provided lunch.
Crimson Acres operates exclusively during Alabama’s quail hunting season, only welcoming guests October 1 through March 31. All hunters must have a valid Alabama hunting license and comply with state laws and regulations.
