The Camp Hill RED DIRT BIENNALE / Art Fair is a multi-genre, day-long art show and community-wide event taking place Saturday, November 14 in historic Camp Hill, from 10 a.m. to 6 pm celebrating the power of place, history, and the role of the arts to transform. The festival starts at 1273 Old 280 Road in Camp Hill, across from the gas station that looks like a medieval castle.
Featuring more than 20 regional and local visual artists in studio spaces, 7 published, award-winning authors, and spread across 6 buildings throughout the town, this event will include makers, food trucks, barbecue, a walking history tour, and more.
Featured artists include award-winning songwriter, performer, and visual artist Jim White; neo-Soul vocalist Kysi Kyez; the Kellyton Baptist Church Angels and Steppers; visual artists from around the state; and work from several Auburn University, Tuskegee University, and University of Alabama faculty.
The event is family-friendly, free, and open to the public, with one ticketed event later in the evening.
