Alexander City Celebrate Freedom

Join Connect Church for Alexander City Celebrate Freedom 2026 on July 3rd at 6:00pm! Enjoy a night of music from today’s biggest Christian artists and celebrate the 22nd year of Celebrate Freedom! This year’s line-up includes Rhett Walker with special guests Belle Isle Worship and Cline! Food items will be available for purchase, as well as homemade ice cream. The night will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display – the biggest show yet! Don’t miss out on the fun, hope to see you there!

Please NO coolers, NO alcohol, & NO smoking at this family-oriented event. In addition, absolutely NO personal fireworks or sparklers.

Dadeville’s America 250 Lake Martin 100 Coin Hunt Celebration Week

Celebrate history during downtown Dadeville’s America 250 Lake Martin 100 Coin Hunt Celebration Week taking place June 27 – July 3. This week-long community celebration honors 250 years of America and 100 years of Lake Martin with family-friendly events, live music, worship services, a patriotic dog walk, games, a golf cart parade, and the exciting Gold Rush Coin Hunt with prizes throughout the week. The festivities end with the Stars & Stripes Celebration on July 3 with entertainment, activities, and patriotic fun for all ages.

4th of July Boat Parade

The 4th of July Boat Parade is a long-standing Lake Martin tradition, and it seems to grow every year. Scores of boats slowly parade from Kowaliga Marina to Children’s Harbor in a festive and patriotic holiday display. Prizes are awarded for Tallest Flag, Largest Flag, Most Creative theme, and Most Patriotic Crew. Two prizes are awarded for each category. First prize is a $150 Russell Marine gift certificate, and second prize is a $75 gift certificate. Best Overall and Crew receives $500 in cash!

4th of July Concert & Fireworks

Celebrate Independence Day at The AMP on Lake Martin with an evening of live music, community, and a spectacular fireworks display at the 4th of July Concert & Fireworks. This year’s celebration is even more special as the United States of America marks 250 years and Lake Martin celebrates its Centennial Anniversary. Gates open at 5:30 PM, and the music begins at 6:30 PM with Lake Martin’s favorite cover band,  The Bank Walkers. Fly By Radio will take the stage for two high-energy sets—one leading up to the fireworks and another to close out the night. Known for their crowd-pleasing mix of rock, pop, and dance favorites, Fly By Radio brings a dynamic sound and engaging stage presence that keeps the party going from start to finish. Their ability to blend familiar hits with a lively, modern edge makes them a standout act for a summer celebration.

The evening will feature an enhanced fireworks show over Lake Martin—bigger and brighter than ever before—right between Fly By Radio’s performances. Tickets are $10. Bring your lawn chairs, gather your friends and family, and enjoy a full night of music and fireworks in a beautiful lakeside setting. Please, leave the pets and your personal fireworks at home.
