SUMMARY:Wild Wonders Fishing Experience at Wind Creek State Park
DESCRIPTION:The waters of Lake Martin possess many things\, beauty\, tranquility\, adventure\, and well\, fish! Yes\, anglers of all ages and skill levels visit this sparkling gem in central Alabama to test their skills against many species of fish like bluegill\, crappie\, catfish\, striped bass\, and largemouth bass! If you would like a chance to fish in these waters yourself\, come to Wind Creek State Park and join park naturalist\, Dylan Ogle on the fishing pier at 8:00 a.m. to learn the basic skills that you can build on as you embark on your angling journey! All equipment will be provided! \nWe are grateful to the Bronco Wild Fund Grant Program for their continued support in promoting access\, stewardship\, and preservation of public lands. Through their generous funding\, initiatives such as trail management\, campground restorations\, adaptive equipment resources\, and new introductory access programs are helping more people connect with the outdoors. In 2025\, BWF is furthering this mission by supporting programs that break down barriers to outdoor recreation\, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy and care for Alabama State Parks.
