Vulcan Orienteering Club

Join our friends at Wind Creek State Park for Vulcan Orienteering Club to learn all about orienteering, a sport in which orienteers of all ages use an accurate, detailed map and a compass to find points in the landscape. Orienteering is a sport for everyone, regardless of age or experience. The competitive athlete can experience the exhilaration of running through the woods at top speed, while the non-competitive orienteer can enjoy the forest at a more leisurely pace. This event will provide courses for all levels–from beginner to advanced on the beach at Wind Creek beginning at 9 AM and ending at 2 PM. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn and have fun!
