The Lake Martin Young Professionals (LMYP) presentsStrand Sessions in order to create an atmosphere in downtown AlexanderCity that will unify the community and draw crowds to appreciate thearea. Strand Sessions, held at Strand Park, features live music fromlocal bands and a free, fun outdoor activity for all ages. The goal isto draw people downtown, where they will spend money at nearbyrestaurants and shops, boosting the economic growth of the town.Strand Sessions is held the first Thursday of each month April throughAugust.
