DESCRIPTION:Visit the Naturalist’s Cabin in April and take a close look at what Spring means for the plants and animals that call Russell Forest home. Samples of Russell Forest plants will show how the buds and bark are formed and how they function. And a sampling of vertebrate and invertebrate animal life will reveal the vast variety of living things that are bustling about in their busiest of seasons. The lifeforms on display in the Cabin will relate directly to those in your own backyard. Appropriate for all ages.
