Guided Nature Tour

This hike will focus on the variety of plant and animal life that relies on SHADE to thrive. Sunlight is essential, but some things grow better on the darker side of nature. We will get down low to peer at the living things who rely on a lack of sunlight to thrive. This energetic hike will offer both learning and exercise. Appropriate for anyone ages 5 – 105.

For all Guided Nature Tours: It is recommended that you have a moderate fitness level and are able to stand or walk for at least two hours. Walking pace will be relaxed with frequent stops. Comfortable, seasonally appropriate clothing and shoes are advised. You may also want to bring bottled water, sunscreen and insect repellent. Binoculars and cameras are welcome. Remember there are no bathrooms on the Forest Trails.
