Derby Day at The Stables

Call it what you like—“The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports” or “The Fastest Two Minutes in Sports”—either way, it’s a fun time! When you think of the Kentucky Derby, what comes to mind? Hats? Churchill Downs? Fast horses? Mint Juleps? Seer sucker? Dan Fogelberg? How about all of the above and more?!
Derby Day at The Stables is the place to be to see all of the ladies (and, quite often, gentlemen) in their colorful hats, while the guys dressed dapper in their sear sucker or other creative attire. Of course, we’ll have music, finger foods and drinks, while we raise money for Children’s Harbor (50/50 split from the winning horse’s bucket). So be sure to bring some cash!
Post-time is scheduled for around 6pm, but Derby history always has the start running a tad late. On-time or late, we’ll gather around the big screens and cheer on our favorite horses. There are some great prizes for best dressed, as well as the luck of the draw! Come join your friends for Derby Day at The Stables.
